Company History:

Leon Anton Sevcik, Jr. was born in La Grange, TX on December 16, 1944. In February of 1972, he opened the Texaco Station on East 29th Street in Bryan, TX. Thanks to tireless service, Leon earned the respect of residents throughout the greater College Station region. Leon knew each of his loyal customers by name and even memorized many of their license plate numbers.

He built his auto shop on quality service, reliable work, long hours, strong friendships, and great generosity. Once the business started to expand, Leon transitioned into a larger facility, where Sevcik's Service Center currently stands.

Sevcik's has always been a true family business. Leon’s sons, Bubba and Patrick, worked in the shop, while his daughter Lisa performed the bookkeeping. Patrick is now the shop’s operations manager, and Leon’s son-in-law, Mark, is the current business manager.
